First of all, thanks for checking out our blog. Our goal is to provide useful resources that help developers and small business owners/managers communicate efficiently and solve difficult technical problems. There's nothing worse than an overly verbose blog post that explains a concept that requires no more than a paragraph. With that said, expect to see short concise posts that are directed at your particular role. Since we are just starting out, all of our blog posts will be directed towards non-technical roles. In the future, we'll have more posts for the devs in our audience! Let's get started!
Coming Soon!
If you currently occupy a non-technical role, but are looking to better understand software development processes, you're in the right place. I had a manager once that had never written code, but it took me 2 weeks after starting the job to realize it, and only because he told me. Why? Because he could "talk the talk" and communicate with a team of developers on a technical level without getting into the technical weeds. My goal is to give you the tools you need to effectively communicate with your technical staff. Communicating the details of software is difficult, especially when one person thinks of it as a bunch of 1s and 0s, while another person thinks of it as a business process or business goal. To effectively communicate, someone, on either side, has to bridge the gap.
